@LeoMars75 They aren't on $100k - That's $100k in 3 years, or $33k a year or £26k p.a. The UK living wage is £11.44, or ££23.7k p.a. Not that different is it? And UK workers got an 8%+ rise this year, not flat for 15 years

@BladeoftheS Because it is codswallop. To rejoin we have to accept the Euro as our currency. We would have £50bn fees to pay per annum. The UK has signed endless trade agreements that can't just be ripped up. The cost and work involved would be huge and we would need a referendum too.

okay, I've lost a fair few quid today but good to keep it in perspective - all I have lost is some money. Many lost far more so that I could be here today - spare a thought at 11 am and remember how lucky we are to live in a relatively peaceful time imo
