Elliot’s slept the whole night in his bed 🥰 Definitely think he was building up confidence in his new team before he allowed himself to go to his bedroom. He’s suffered an awful lot of trauma from hospital. Bedroom was always a worry for him as he got hurt in ATU!

Asking for help should be a pleasant experience where your nursed to well again. Instead 3 years in, isolated in an ATU and he’s worse than when I picked up the phone. If I can give you one piece of advice, don’t pick up the phone.

So Elliot had 100s of gallstones which split the gallbladder in his tummy. It took 2 hours to hand pick all the gallstones out. The gallbladder was stuck to his liver, they couldn’t see where to clip the two blood vessels safely which took ages.

2 times he’s gone down on his head, the 3rd he managed to save himself with his left hand.
They swept their foot under his legs to get him down & had their arm near his throat.

Paramedics were called to the ward last night, Elliot had chest pain & was saying help me. His pulse was over 200. His anxiety was so high. After two ECG’s, his heart settled but can not get it lower than 135 bc of the medication he is on. He just wants & needs to leave now.

10 weeks to discharge, no S117 plan, not even a draft. Social worker complains when asked for it to be handed to CCG in a weeks time. Response “Not reasonable”
Mate, all parties were told in Nov it needed doing. How is 20 weeks not a reasonable amount of time?

6 yrs on, 3 yrs on locked up, been told daily. “Your bro/son is dangerous”. “He carnt be discharged yet”. MH Hosps misunderstand pts with LD&Autism. Please avoid, they ruin their lives.

Tomorrow, TEWV close two LD wards at Lanchester Road Hospital where Elliot & other patients suffered dreadful injuries which triggered CQC to inspect which rated them inadequate. Been kept extremely quiet, this is another reason why a Public inquiry needs to happen! They hide!

Nothing worse than hearing that Elliot asked his grandad if he was going to be alone when he moves on Wednesday 😞 He just wants to be with his mum, his safety net. So very sad that ppl with autism are forced to live independently when they are wanted. Makes me angry!

2 days to go! ⏰ Yesterday we said goodbye to one of the most amazing, loving, caring HCA at the hospital. He will be a huge miss to all of us especially Elliot & my gorgeous babies! We showered him with gifts and laughter 🥰 He is the perfect example of how caring should be! 💙

They’ve decided that they needed to do everything possible to make his home robust to take his frustration. They haven’t helped him, they’ve just caused him a whole load of trauma. A babysitting service that isn’t fit for purpose. The trauma we will carry with us. For what?

We arranged at the end of December with the hospital that Elliot would be allowed home once a month. They have cancelled two now, not honouring the commitment they promised. It’s just not acceptable.
