@NJL_Blancq At my old uni, we wore maroon and grey, totally different to the trust, I didn’t mind it, yes we stood out, but it made us recognisable as students. Only downside was no decent coat, had a soft shell, our waterproof was the Hiviz

@ParaAndy90 @TheLeeMcLaren We get management ride outs every 6 months or so, making sure that we do have reviews, whilst doing the ride out, also get an appraisal and looks over our figures

@T543210987TJ @DrCalumMiller A DNR wouldn’t stop him getting stents, a DNR is only used if his heart stopped all together, it doesn’t stop treatment, just stops resuscitation

@Phoebobs @DrCalumMiller A DNR isn’t someone not being treated. It just means if their heart stops, that resuscitation will not occur. It is not a no treatment document. So a patient can receive all treatment such as IV antibiotics for infections

@loddyy24 Depends where you want to work, I work in the NE. We don’t queue a massive amount, probably will change soon with the winter coming, but so far, the longest I’ve queued this year would be like 1-2 hours, even then that’s been very rare. Yes I will probably queue longer soon

@lucyalicewyke @NurseStandard Why do newly qualified need to be band 6. As a newly qualified paramedic starts on band 5 after completing a portfolio of how they meet criteria they can then go up to band 6. Plus it takes minimum of 12-24 months to get to this phase.
