पवित्र श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता जी हिंदू धर्म का सबसे धार्मिक ग्रंथ है। यह चारों पवित्र वेदों का निचोड़ है। इसमें 700 श्लोक, 18 अध्याय, चार वक्ता- श्री कृष्ण जी=574 अर्जुन जी=84 संजय जी=41 धृतराष्ट्र जी=1 पवित्र गीता जी अध्याय 4 श्लोक 34 में गुरु बनाना अति अनिवार्य कहा है।
