@GL2411 Players declining don’t bother me. I agree there’s some new life in the play of older players who change teams. I believe this is especially true when a player comes to the Yankees understanding the mission there. I think fans are going to be surprised by Goldy & Belli.

@carlymersky This is a different dynamic because of Barkley. If he wasn’t an Eagle you wouldn’t have one Giants fan rooting for the Eagles. So, I disagree with your premise because it doesn’t factor in Barkley who a lot of Giants fans love & know our team let him walk.

@JacobBSpeaks I’m not against it, I just don’t think Cashman will sign him. Too much bad blood. In addition, he hasn’t gotten any traction for two reasons. 1) He wants a 6-7 year deal. Yanks not going there. 2) He has been in decline last 1-3 yrs. Which really doesn’t bother me.
