They’re trying to save bonds by using DOGE, @elonmusk cutting all that Government spending which should take off some sell pressure on US Treasury bonds, since something like $9 Trillion of T-Bonds are in need of refinancing this year, and most of them in first 6 months! And banks can not absorb them since their pool of funds in Reverse Repos are almost running empty, so that means only one thing left: Fed is gonna have to Stop QT! And maybe even start QE soon🤔 I know this sounds crazy but that’s the only option they have…. Or, how much spending do you think Elon can actually cut? Enough to make a big difference?

The bigger threat may not be these tariff bluffs from Trump as we saw today, it was a bluff to get Mexico and Canada to do more border security.
