This will be my one time talking about this. Follow for follow benefits no one. It puts you lower in the twitter algorithm, it makes it impossible to genuinely support the people you care about, and it gives false confidence where none was earned. Seeing a big number feels.
I'm probably gonna get cancelled for saying this but I don't agree with follow for follow mentality. It's disingenuous and unauthentic. The audience you're building up becomes people who don't care about your content. In turn, your engagement becomes less and of low quality.
