The Whitehall alumni girls basketball game was a hit again, and today the team honored the 50th anniversary of the 1975 WMC championship squad. The Viking alumni go home with a 55-32 win, their 3rd straight in the annual showdown with the current team.

Mona Shores raced out of the gates in the second half with a 22-1 run, rolling to the win. Reeths-Puffer's Marvin Moore and Brayden Mitchelson had 19 and 18 points respectively.

Mona Shores wins it tonight, 40-28. The Rockets were as close as 5 points down the stretch but Shores scored the final 7. Raquel Walker led RP and tied for the game lead with 13 points.

@PeteSampson_ Some parts of this fan base need to calm down. What's more likely, that the AD who literally just said he's "maniacally obsessed with winning the national championship" came up short here, or the guy with 5 kids and deep roots in Texas simply made a different decision?

Final - Montague finished a strong 2nd, less than 10 points behind Hart, and Whitehall took 4th place.
