Who misses the days of big print publishing? You know, when they used to put so much effort into catching all the typos, before going to press...

@seraleev More to the point: How many days did it take to create each app?

Is it just me, or is it a whole lot easier to make typos now that xcode tries to finish all my thoughts for me?

I side-load the app onto my device. It works. Wonderful! Time for a break. Then I come back and xcode has new errors for me... what in the world

@pigg_thomas I only have one app out at the moment, but I kept it very simple: "This app records no private data" was about all I had to say 🙂

I wonder what's the fastest anyone has gone from idea to App Store?

@SwiftUI_newbie OK so wait: what is being bet on? Someone has won 100% of bets when the odds were between 2.16:1 and 2.85:1?

My smallish apps are getting bigger. Now my online students can save their quiz scores to Google Firebase and I can view them from home! But wow, the various tutorials out there were all over the place. I half think I should make my own tutorial... for us "advanced beginners."

@SwiftUI_newbie As a "beginner," I can end up with very long Views because I'm too busy trying to see how things work to worry about splitting things off. The trouble is, I'll add one more weenie line of code and then boom I get "compiler cannot type-check the expression in reasonable time."

I seem to be on a run, running into AI errors. Folks, I know AI is fast and fun, but you MUST PROOFREAD! This from the Raisin site:

@pigg_thomas Maybe you could try family coding? 😉 I remember doing that with my two young boys. They started with "Scratch," then graduated to simple javascript games, like Snake and Hangman! So much fun, so close to home

It took 3 days to learn this hard lesson, but NO, it returns nothing! Well, more accurately, you get "insufficient permissions" error. What the security rule actually does is check whether sending back ALL documents would necessarily pass that rule -- if not, it no read for u.

@gmarquezrivas @readswithravi @briannawiest I suppose transforming self-sabotage would always be a good idea. But people are usually blind to what they are doing, right? Does this book help people self-assess?

@gmarquezrivas Reminds me of the time I went to my professor saying I had a stupid question. "No question is a stupid question," he said confidently. So I asked, and he said, "Now THAT's a stupid question." 🙂 ..but at least I had my answer!
