This is the final weekend our home serves as a staging location! (check out the video). Today, we welcomed the Reproductive Freedom Bus with amazing guests like @alexismcgill, the @PodSaveAmerica team, @DanaiGurira and @JeriLRyan. Together, we’re knocking doors in South Phoenix, standing strong for reproductive rights and voter engagement. Let’s make this last push count—do everything to bring it home. No regrets!

No to Mass Deportations: Keep Families Together! Mass deportations tear apart families, devastate communities, and betray the values of dignity and compassion that define us. Every child deserves to grow up with their parents, and every family deserves to feel safe in their home. Together, we have the power to resist. We say NO to mass deportations and YES to keeping families together!
Here, Trump confirms what we knew all along: His Administration will use military assets to implement his mass deportation plans.

As I reflect on this journey—on everything from the GOP extremism we fought against to the challenges within the Democratic Party—I know there is much to digest. Some things need improvement, while others may need to be rebuilt from scratch. Here is my reflection/poem, grounded on a Hawaiian prayer shared with me by a great friend: I love you, please forgive me, I am sorry, thank you. To those who came before us, the ones whose shoulders we stand on, and who fought for our rights: I love you. For your courage, your sacrifices, and your relentless belief in the power of justice. Please forgive me. For the times we’ve fallen short of the dreams you fought so hard to make possible. Thank you. For blazing a trail, for your unshakable faith in the dignity of our people. I am sorry. For the moments we didn’t carry your legacy as far as it deserved to go. To the generations yet to come: I love you. For your hope, your energy, and the brighter future you inspire. Please forgive me. For the challenges you may still face, for the work unfinished. Thank you. For trusting us to keep building, even when the road feels long and steep. I am sorry. For the weight we couldn’t fully lift off your shoulders. To the volunteers and organizers, who gave everything under the blazing Arizona sun: I love you. For your tireless commitment, for every door you knocked, every voice you lifted. Please forgive me. For the victories we couldn’t yet deliver. Thank you. For your sweat, your grit, and your belief that together, we could move mountains. I am sorry. For the burden you carried when the odds were stacked against us. To our families, our friends, and to our own tired hearts: I love you. For your patience, your strength, and your unwavering support. Please forgive me. For the moments I couldn’t be there, for the everyday sacrifices we all made. Thank you. For your understanding, for standing with us even when the fight took everything. I am sorry. For the time lost, but know it was given in service of a greater good. And now, as we rise to fight again: I love you. For believing in the power of community, in the strength of our collective voice. Please forgive me. For the times I may falter, but know I’ll always get back up. Thank you. For standing together, for refusing to give up. I am sorry. For the wounds we bear, but from them, we draw our resolve to continue the fight. Together, we will prevail. ¡Si Se Puede! Raquel
