@BryanMcGruder1 Sure it’s impressive. But ya know what? Not as impressive as Holt leading in yards and receptions in the decade that had Moss, Harrison, and Owen’s in it. While sharing targets with Bruce and Holt. Sharpe was among his peers but not atop them during his time.

@BryanMcGruder1 He was inducted in 1977 that is a completely different era from the 1960s those RBs played 6-10 years max and they shared carries with an actual fullback . If you don’t think longevity matters in the modern era after the 80s then that’s crazy. JMO

@BryanMcGruder1 But as others state he was selected by the seniors portion. The HOF only inducted 3 guys of the “modern” era apparently. Thats what hurt Holt more

@BudsOilers You know it’s funny to say that because, that plays a role OF COURSE. As unfortunate as it is. You know before Holt hurt his knee he led all receivers in yards per game in nfl history so I can play that game as well. If he played 16 years can you imagine the numbers? Stop
