It'll be nice not being limited to one good angle, and I won't be at the mercy of the stage lighting of said angle and people placement. There's only so much you can edit and compensate for in post.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Leeloo is eating on her own! So far, she prefers the beef broth/paté "soup" I made over paté alone and her usual kibble. I made sure to present her with multiple options to see what she feels comfortable with.
Day one after meds is looking good so far!

Today marks an end of an Era for me now that my last living grandparent has passed on. It feels so surreal. Despite this, I'm incredibly thankful to have had her in my life knowing that she was such a positive influence on me and my family.

Dropped Leeloo off at the cat hotel, and she vomited the moment we arrived. She got car sick from the longer drive there.
At the airport, some guy blatantly cut me in line, so the desk agent upgraded my seat and checked my bag for free because she wanted to.

Endoscopy complete! I enjoyed a very nice nap.
So far, they found significant gastritis and excess bile (more than usual) backed up into my stomach. They also took a few biopsies to make sure there isn't anything else going on causing the gastritis. Results pending.

As a person with trust issues, I've found that when people take ownership and admit their faults, it says a lot about them, and I trust them more. Yeah, they messed up, but they want to do better instead of placing the blame on something that is obviously a diversion or excuse.

Picked up Leeloo from the kitty hotel and just got home. I can tell she's happy to be back because one of the first things she did after her initial house inspection was to fetch me one of her favorite toys. My heart is full! 😻

Finally made it back to civilization after spending 5 days in the desert with my dirt family! I'm overwhelmed with emotions, sheer exhaustion, and dirt in every crevasse, but I wouldn't change it for a thing. Wasteland Weekend is a hell of a good time, and yes, I will return!

My dad retired today after 44 years with the same company. I can barely fathom it.

Well, I am happy to report that Leeloo is almost back to her normal self. She was even well enough for me to give her a bath, and she didn't even put up a fight. No more stinky Leeloo. I'm mostly just happy that she's eating and drinking a little bit. 🥰

One week after starting her thyroid medication, Leeloo is back to her normal self: silently judging anyone and anything moving outside the window. She even looks healthier than she did the week before! It makes me so happy that she's feeling better! 🥰
