Jackknifed semi in Racine County I-41 is removed. Roadway is back open

Jackknifed semi trailer southbound I41 at STH 11 in Racine County, Blocking 3 lanes of traffic. Avoid the area.

The MCAT concluded their investigation and open the roadway to normal traffic at approximately 5:00 p.m.

The operator of the Ford Escape, a twenty-year-old male, was located in the ditch line on the south side of the street.  Deputies provided initial medical care at the scene, and the twenty-year-old male was transported by Flight For Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

The accident investigation shows the Jeep was northbound on US 45 and turned left trying to go west on 6 Mile road in front of the southbound truck. US 45 was closed to traffic until 1:40 PM.
