@AfricanArchives Thank you. My gran was asked to stop serving beer to black GIs by the white US army troops. She was told her bar should be for whites only. She refused and continued to welcome everyone until those men left for D Day.

@AEmptyu @ShaunLintern I remember it well when working in emergency nursing over Christmas and New Year. Most of management were on leave for the two weeks. This really needs to change.
