#WilliamGillette defined #SherlockHolmes for a generation with his 1899 play that was later adapted to a film in 1916. Believed lost for a century, a copy was found in 2014 and beautifully restored and it's wonderful this piece of history has been saved. 🔎

We were fortunate to join the annual meeting of #TheLiteraryAgents which is a scion society of the #BakerStreetIrregulars. The meeting featured a scholarly discussion of the #ArthurConanDoyle book "The Land of Mist" to celebrate 100 years since the original publication.
