Not just a family photo: Fakhri Barghouthi was one of longest held prisoners in 1978, leaving behind his wife and two children. He was released in 2011. His oldest, Shadi - right, was imprisoned in 2004 for 27 years. They first met in jail in 2007… and outside, only y’day.

Since mid-JAN, Israeli forces have intensified access restrictions across the occupied West Bank, more gates, roadblocks and earth mounds were erected... in addition to the near 900 existing obstacles, causing prolonged delays. This is one such checkpoint, north of Nablus.
