Back in 2009, after a positive player response to the Hallowe'en Event, Jagex said they would be releasing the Spider Realm agility course as permanent content. Unfortunately, this never happened.

To play devil’s advocate, if Jagex are being truly honest about their intentions with this gamemode — they should remove any and all incentive for an ‘existing’ player to feel like they should play it or pay for it.

I know it often feels like the RuneScape 3 ethos is that quest requirements are lamentable (meanwhile OSRS is happy to place quest requirements on their upcoming Raid), but a fairly simple solution to cut down the ED3 bots would be adding Pieces of Hate as a requirement.

RuneScape has the best quests I’ve ever seen in an MMO/RPG
But, to beat a dead horse, it’s such a pity that the vast majority of RS3 quests are nerfed beyond comprehension in terms of combat. Even the famous ones, eg. Monkey Madness or Nomad’s Requiem

Love the idea of a limited time RS3 competition but, my god, the execution of requiring a new subscription and incorporating MTX is a disaster

Don't forget, Jagex has seen continual profit growth year on year. If you're playing RS3, as of April you'll have received Het's Oasis, Abyssal Slayer Monsters and Extinction so far in 2022.

A little while back, one of the Jagex artists had a Pinterest board titled 'Necromancy'. This has since been removed.

Models don't always match their concept art one-to-one, but when they do - it's fantastic. This is a great example of that. It's difficult to see even a single difference between the two. Great job.

Bank Bidders was a RuneScape 3 update announced in 2016, and then later delayed for a February, 2017 release. In July, 2017 it was cancelled.
Players would have been able to bid for the banks of newly and long-banned accounts. Even bringing rares into circulation!
