RSPB Saltholme will be closed tomorrow (24 January) due to the amber weather warning. We are planning to open as normal on Saturday (25 January). If you have tickets for our Writing Workshop, we'll be in touch with you via email. @teesbirds1

Sunday 5 January - RSPB Saltholme will be closed due to the weather conditions as staff are unable to safely travel in from areas with heavy snow. Thanks for your understanding @teesbirds1
Sunday 5 January - due to the potential of snow overnight we maybe closed. We're in the yellow warning and forecast mainly rain but our staff and volunteers travel in from where there is an amber warning in place. Please check back tomorrow before travelling. @teesbirds1

Update - We plan to open the Visitor Centre at 10am on Sunday and will open the reserve once all safety checks have been complete but depending on damage this may take some time. Both the Fair and Santa Visits will run as planned.
RSPB Saltholme Reserve and Visitor Centre Closed TODAY Due to the forecast of very high winds today, for the safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers, we have made the difficult decision to close on today (Saturday 7 December). We hope to re-open tomorrow at 10am.

ROAD CLOSURE The A1046 Haverton Hill Road will be closed from 8pm Saturday 16 November until 6pm Sunday 17 November. Follow the diversion along Fleet Bridge Road to access RSPB Saltholme during this closure. Thank you.

🚨EARLY CLOSURE TOMORROW🚨 A reminder that our reserve and visitor centre will close at 1pm on Thursday 14 November. All hides will close at 12:30pm to allow the 1pm reserve closure. We will reopen as normal on Friday 15 November. Thank you for your understanding.
