Though he wasn't to blame for the bridge not being built to accommodate his weight, I like the detail that Samson later took on heavy freight trains for the sake of reparations. He seems like quite the upstanding locomotive.

Ahhh, I can never have too many Samsons, ay? Proto Samson's design differs in every piece of concept art I've seen, so I had to make an approximation. Two for good measure!

I'm just gonna lead with that I don't actually know much of how the Brave Locomotive is gonna actually play out, so this is just interpretation based on assumption. However, I took a liking to the idea of Linus growing on Samson a little, much later in the latter's life.

I figure this sums up most every earlier version of Linus and Samson. Compared to Samson's varied earlier designs, Linus stayed virtually the same throughout. Aside from some details and wheel arrangement.

I still find it funny that the very next locomotive in line after Linus wasn't a ten-wheeler, 'nor an Atlantic, but an entire Berkshire. It's a comedic discrepancy, I won't deny.

I gave Samson a couple of edits. I tweaked the model's proportions to be a little closer to a Lima Berkshire. On another note, I made a few coaches for him too.

After finding a recording of an old audio cassette of the Polar Express book, I've kinda taken a liking to the original book over the movie. It's a simple story, but a quaint and nostalgic one all the same.
