New Years Day community clean-up 🧹🫧 On New Year’s Day, volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association across Yorkshire exemplified the true spirit of service. After rising early for pre-dawn prayers, they took to the streets to clean up their local communities, clearing litter left behind from New Year’s celebrations. For these young #Muslims community care isn’t just a civic duty—it’s a deeply ingrained value inspired by their faith. #Islam teaches that service to #humanity is integral to devotion to God, and cleanliness is emphasised as a fundamental virtue. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught, “Cleanliness is half of faith.” By rolling up their sleeves and restoring their neighborhoods, these volunteers demonstrated that actions speak louder than words. Their efforts remind us all of the importance of unity, responsibility, and starting the year with selfless service.
