chuffed to say I’ve accepted a job offer & will be starting a new role in February in a very different kind of career to the last 30 years. it’s a role that can have a lasting impact on teens. Working with them to keep them away from potential harm & a life of crime. So thrilled!

So I’m sat on a basketball court in Splott waiting to get my 1st vaccination jab at Star Leisure Centre.The team here are doing an amazing job. volunteers, medics and RAF staff looking after so many people, it’s thorough, quick & really well planned. Kudos to all involved 👏🏼👏🏼💉

At 13 I tried suicide, spent weeks in hospital, time in a coma, saw a therapist. I survived. I still have anxiety which manifests itself physically when it’s extreme but I survive. I reach out to friends when I need to. I will survive.

This is heartbreaking. This is why Pride events are still needed. Whether that’s Barry or Barbados. Role models & Goal models are needed to speak out & speak up for LGBTQ rights and we need to encourage others to listen, understand & inspire change.
This young Armenian gay couple, aged 16 and 21, jumped of a bridge together after posting these pictures.
Just like thousands of other LGBTIQ people every year, they saw no future for themselves, so they ended their lives.
Homophobia claimed two more lives

I am a suicide survivor. I tried to take my life at 13 yrs old. I had the whole electric pads & ‘clear’ thing, was in a coma & spent some time in hospital & in therapy. My family & friends got me through, they still do. Talking is so important. Ask for help!

We lost my uncle yesterday & the impact of this lockdown really hit me hard. Knowing I couldn't be with my family & support each other was horrendous, my bedroom felt like a cell. We have to stay strong tho & keep going. So grateful for my friends support x

Today we laid my sister in her final resting place in the Rhondda. I am heartbroken but the sun was bright & warm & the view from the mountain was beautiful. I will miss her for the rest of my life, but I cherish the fact that she is buried where her heart and head called Home.
