2-steppy, "proto" dubstep is gonna be big this year is my prediction, maybe not with all crowds, but def for me and the heads. Lot's of sick people making these sounds atm
1. Sweet Female Attitude - Flowers (Sunship Edit)
2. Shanks & Bigfoot - Sweet Like Chocolate
3. True Steppers ft. Dane Bowers & Victoria Beckham - Out Of Your Mind
4. Daniel Bedingfield - Gotta Get Thru This
5. Wideboys - Sambuca
One thing I really love about underground music is there isn't such a thing as a 'one hit wonder' like in pop music/it's a different thing. You get one obscure person making one sick white label 20 years ago for example and it's still being played and revered in raves today 👌🏻
If you’d told me when I was 18 that one day I’d cut couple Skream dubs especially ones that sound like they were made in 2002 I wouldn’t believed you 🤯 Big up
@I_Skream
👊🏻
If you are struggling call someone there is lots of support, which I realise now. Turning to booze probably isn’t the one although I’m not here to tell anyone what to do
My HOR set is now up, 55 mins of me dressed in all black chopping up dark UKG vinyl, had some bad luck with streams in the past, so pleased with how this one came out 😁
Listen here -
The way very posh people say ‘mate’ really makes my breakfast want to come up, and if you’re reading this tweet you know exactly what I mean and I hope you can hear it in your head too and it makes you feel sick. Cos these 2 blokes on the train rn are too much
It’s cool that UKG is poppin again as producers know for other genres are now making UKG tunes just like in the 90s when some jungle heads started to dabble in garage. Exciting times, been sent so much sick stuff from people applying their skills to the UKG sound 🎹👌🏻
Never gonna make any 'end of year' playlists but sold out two pressings of 300 vinyl both in the space of a week, with little to no media coverage or PR, so pretty pleased about that. Hopefully sneaking in one more surprise release before the end of the year as well 🤞🏼
Fruit machines in pubs yeah who teaches you how to play em, some mystic knowledge that must only be passed down by the old geezers propping up the bar 😂
Ngl I’ve struggled with lockdown, today is first time in a while actually had records on and mixed, cos couple new dubs showed up and has been a blessing
Anyone else get time anxiety and just turn up to stuff wayyyyyy too early. Even like the fuckin pub an shit I’ll be there half hour before anyone else having to nurse a pint on my own 🤣
Pleased to announce that I’m now going to be weekly Friday’s on
@RinseFM
6-7PM BST 🛠️I’ll be live this week with nothing but absolute belters to start your weekend off right! Feels like a bit of an achievement to me as I initially just dreamed of having a guest mix on Rinse 🥹😅
This is very sad, Leon always used to go out his way to help me, sometimes driving 40 plus minutes (in his sick beamer) to meet me with dubs for raves the same night or next day. Lovely guy, RIP Leon 😞
So saddened to learn of the passing of Leon Chue the master dub plate cutting engineer at Music House London since the mid 90s ..his quiet, reserved demeanour and devotion to his craft was something to behold. Heartfelt condolences to his family. RIP Leon.

Real one, off top my head
1. Groove Chronicles - Stone Cold
2. Es-G - Roll London City
3. Angie Stone Vs. Roy Davis Jr. - Wish I Didn't Miss You Vs. Gabrielle
4. BMW - Gotta Believe
5. Roly '91 - Swan Tip
My set with Killa P yesterday in Leeds really restored my faith in one DJ one MC was all vinyl as well mainly older tunes and the kids were going mad for it 🛠️ The energy was right
Been DJin’ for over 10 years now, and cut dub yday that been after for about same time. So any young guns starting out keep going persistence is key, and this is coming from one of the laziest motherfuckers out there 😅
Decided to switch it up a bit for next Monday’s
@balamii
show. Going to be running an Oldschool Dubstep Special 💥 All vinyl classics, rarities, slept on bits you know the drill 👊🏻
Nothing but 4x4 Dubstep Rollers on Rinse last week, kicks, subs and techno leaning sounds
Probably the most nuanced and technical mix I’ve done on Rinse so far 😬

Unfortunately the lawyers have caught up with me so South London Press is no more 😞 However South London Pressings is now the new label name. If someone could tell me how to change a label name on Discogs that would be much appreciated as I don’t want to be sued 😅😑
Played this in a pub last night and it solidified in my mind that it’s maybe the best tune ever made, certainly the best bass line of all time maybe

As well as bringing the
