Last night, Mrs. Phyllis Schwann passed away. Sad day for the RHSAA as her husband Dr. Paul Schwann and her entire family were huge supporters of high school sports, especially the Regina Intercollegiate Football League. Thanks for your contributions and many years of service.

Swift Current 65 Campbell 52 Final Score in Sr. Girls Exhibition Basketball. Over $15 000 raised. Far more important than wins and losses. Another example of what High Schools sports and community are all about.

When raising money for cancer awareness and watching two excellent teams play hard, display sportsmanship and perseverance, it puts life into perspective. The picture tells it all. Over $6000 raised and that was the third quarter total! Well done Tartans and Royals!
Congratulations to the Campbell Tartans Sr. Girls Basketball team for turning over a cheque in the amount of $7500.00 to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Riffel Royals played Campbell February 5th as part of a Pink Game fundraiser and should also be commended!
The RHSAA would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the family of 980 CJME media icon Warren Woods who passed away this afternoon. Woodsy will be sorely missed covering high school athletics in Regina and in the entire province of Saskatchewan for the last 33 years.
Over the holidays, the RHSAA lost a great supporter of high school athletics. Jerry Orban, a long time coach and administrator will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

The RHSAA would like to congratulate the LeBoldus Golden Suns for being recognized as one of the top 10 all-decade high school football teams in 2010-20. They tied for third place winning 6 provincial championships in that time span. Well done Suns!

In a simply fantastic match by both teams, the Martin Monarchs defeated the Winston Knoll Wolverines 25-20, 25-22 in the Sr. Boys Blue Division city volleyball finals at Luther. Great host school.
