He’s absolutely fine is Lord du Mesnil after yesterday’s @AintreeRaces grand National wisely pulled up by his jockey. The good ground was not to his liking and will never run on that going again. We’ll have ago over the fences again in the Beecher in December. #suchadude.

Being a jump jockey isn’t an easy career! having the right stable supporting you where you can ride winners regularly, to then have the confidence that you need to believe in yourself. One things for sure is the risks that our jump jockeys take are incredible as you can see here.

As a father of a nearly 6yr old girl it is very hard watching the news tonight with Ukranien doctors trying to save a 6yr old Ukrainien girls life after her street and house was bombed. She sadly died desperate situation and I feel very sad and thoughts go out to all of Ukraine🙏.

Such a disappointing run from Lord du Mesnil yesterday knowing the track and ground wouldn’t of been most suited by him I still felt he should of won. His injury was worst than we thought but his boots saved him from the horse who struck into him. At least he’ll be back soon soon
