One thing I see now about vr... The previous human generation is not paying off for vr! They don't buy, they keep complaining! It looks like this, it looks like that...everything bad that isn't Half Life: Alyx The next generation that is now 8-14 years old and playing with Gorilla Tag or just plain vr, is not playing on console or monitor. They don't like it anymore! They've played with it for a year and that's it...daddy bought them a meta quest and they're gorilla tagging...they can't play without movement... I've been working in this for almost 8 years and I see how kids react to vr itself. These people who are kids now will be playing vr in the future because flat gaming will not be enough for them. There's still a generation of Half Life people who care about the name, but I don't know anyone in their 20s who is a fan of the name or the games! It's not Half Life: Alyx that's helping vr into the future, it's Gorilla Tag and Beat Saber...and I know that people who were born in the 1980's this truth hurts like hell, but just like the new star wars movies, it's not for the old fans, it's for the new generation who like the new movies and don't care what the old people like and don't like. @MetaQuestVR

@Thrilluwu @Lunayian No...there's nothing worse than fresnel lenses...a little more movement and the image is blurred! With pancake lenses everything is fine

@ChrisHarte7 Well... both versions are games! Probably because graphics are important to you, you play on easy to feel like you're the king of games 😆

Am I the only one who played Half Life Alyx in 7 and a half hours and hasn't played it again since 2019? #vr

@FCusrto5395 @bozoid @UploadVR You probably have no idea what a good number is for a big studio ..this 180.000 is 10% of what the big studios want!

@QuestWithMatt So Upload VR is talking to a few dozen development studios who make childish content , why is it the meta's fault that non-meta developers make games that people don't care about?

@JU5TINCREDlBLE Psvr 1 has had terrible game sales, selling 5 million copies. Psvr 2 has sold about 2 million copies so far and buying patterns have not changed.

@bozoid It's not that simple...no major studio is interested in VR at the moment. It's up to the small studios to come up with new ideas and make a killing in terms of revenue to get the big studios interested. It won't work until the meta does something about piracy
