Today 3rd grade writers visited 6th grade ELA to read text-dependent narratives relating to WWII internment camps. This is a topic both grade levels have been studying. It was an encouragement to both groups of students! Team work makes the dream work! @Bates_EES @mellieguh

Today we held a mock election between Duck and Grace for President. Students wrote down the characteristics of a great president and voted for which story character best fit their description! Today was a great day to learn about our freedoms. ❤️🤍💙
