This week, I gave my first departmental colloquium focusing on our work with boron. It was an absolute blast and I can't wait to see more of this out in print soon! Keep your eyes peeled :)

Crazy to see him gone. He was a valuable member of my doctoral committee when I was a graduate student at UCSD then he was an excellent colleague as I started my independent career here at UCSD. All this beyond just being a really great guy. Fly on my friend.
In memory of Professor Emeritus of Chemistry Arnold Rheingold. His contributions to the study of chemistry and x-ray crytallography were enormous. @UCSDChemBiochem

Had a great time visiting @ucmerced for a seminar on our work with boron and meetings with faculty and students. Lots of great stuff going on there and a beautiful campus. Big thanks to @RebecaA61689283 for the invite and an amazing time!

Paper number 2 for the group! So exciting to see how this research turned from the original idea. Aryl radicals generated with just a Lewis base and light. Congrats to Jonathan Galicia and Nicholas McDonald, the co-MVPs of this work. Keep it up guys!
