I was in Kyiv in 2018 and I also heard a lot of Russian. I listen to footage of UA soldiers, which is also often in Russian. Funny how Russian speaking people are fighting rather than living subjugated to Putin's Russia, isn't it? Also hear a lot of Russian here in Germany.
