This is partially true tho. Egyptians do descend from z Copts. And just as Ibn Sa'id wrote Afars did border Suakin & it’s likely that they inhabited Egypt long ago & moved southward as the Beja pushed them out.
It’s also important to note that some Afars make Arab lineage claim.
The hairstyle of ancient Egyptians was similar to that of Afar people currently living in Ethiopia and Eritrea, there was no archaeological evidence that shows the current Egyptians are a part of ancient Egypt civilization.

Awsa wasn’t Somali. It’s geographically Afar and the original tribes of Awsa are Afar. Ga'asa is Afar name. And it’s a common misconception that Balaw is Arab but in reality they’re beja from Sudan. Very of few them claim Arab qabil.
