I can’t imagine what @dbuckner_07 was thinking that told him suicide was the only solution. But I can assume that the school, sports, social, etc. restrictions placed in our state didn’t help w/ whatever personal struggles he was having. You deserved better Dylan.

Real talk SS. I hear over and over from kids who say that their HS coach tells them “it’s not my job” to help w/ the recruiting process. Could you imagine a HS kid telling a coach it’s “not his job” to help win football games in order for the coach to keep his job?.
High School Coaches you sure as hell have a responsibility to help your kids extend their education and playing career if possible!.

As a parent, you are failing your child if you are allowing him to be coached up by an adult with a hidden agenda, to act like a disrespectful asshole toward the competition. And no parent wants to have an asshole for a son.

Many kids feel like they can post whatever negative thought and opinion they want to social media. What they don’t realize is to say their negative comment in person would most like get their teeth knocked out. Don’t be a keyboard bad ass unless you actually are a bad ass.

My pet peeve. “my kid has an arm.” Great. My kid has 2 arms. If “has an arm” means he can throw far, I could care less. Can he throw a slant, out, curl, hitch & dig 10/10 times? That’s what I care about. Arm strength is a massively over hyped quality for young QB’s.
@QBCoachHolc 5’10 170. I know you want to be D1. Is it possible yes, is it likely, no. The problem is your have to be sooo above avg in so many check list boxes to overcome and make it to that level. Do you have a Russ Wilson arm? Do you have a Brees brain? If you don’t it prob won’t work.
