Yesterday, I had my salary review. I was given a little over a 14% raise.
Here is a look at my raises since starting with my current company.
Year 1: 5% raise
Year 2: 15.5% raise
Year 3: 18% raise
Year 4: 5% raise
Year 5: 14.2% raise
Just to be clear:
Paying off a 2.75% rate mortgage early is NOT a good financial move.
It, for some, is a good mental health decision though.
But you can't call it a good financial move, its actually a horrible financial move.

Daycare is insane:
We pay the equivalent of a second mortgage to send our son to daycare.
In return..
Our son is always sick and has to stay home 50% of the time.
I have heard that your kid either gets sick in daycare or you delay it and they get sick when they start
Just a reminder:
$25,000 invested in the S&P 500 with an average return of 8% a year will be worth $38,015 in 5 years.
$25,000 sitting in your Chase savings account getting .01% a year will be worth $25,001.25 in 5 years.
