Milk acquired.
Togashi back. Berserk back. Kubo saving anime. Talking anime with other people who like talking anime is pretty cool. Dragon Ball is funny.
RoF Frieza: Rushes to Earth the second he transforms. Constantly cries about Goku. Dies alone and forgotten.
Granolah Arc Frieza: Trains 10 years straight in an empty dimension. One-shots U7's top 3 like he's Trunks. Is chill. Leaves everyone traumatized.
Character development.
There's something eternally ironic about Battle of Gods revealing that there are 12 universes, each with promising fighters, only for the next 3 movies' antagonists to end up being Frieza, Broly, and Cell.
Possibly the funniest thing about True UI is that Manga Goku went through 3 extra arcs just to end up at a worse version of what he was able to do in the anime.
One of the weirdest RoF issues was how Vegeta got shafted.
Goku made the same mistake Whis warned him about but got a redo and the W.
Vegeta did...nothing wrong? but died and got robbed by Goku. Hell, this is one of Vegeta's more mature fights, so what was his lesson here?
Gohan broke his arm and gave up on life.
Vegeta broke his arm and started crying.
Deku destroyed his arm and said "screw it Plus Ultra".
Who's y'all's MC? 😤
Vegeta won't get any new transformations. Ever. Instead, he will begin losing the transformations he already has. There will be an episode where he goes "whoops, I forgot how to go Super Saiyan, real sorry guys."
2015 me wanted to see the gold-haired forms again because I liked seeing transformations all the time lol but man, in 20/20 hindsight things would've been so much simpler if Toriyama stuck with base and god forms for Goku and Vegeta...
So apparently, Super Saiyan Blue "Evolution" was really intended to be Ascended Blue / Blue Grade 2. In a sense, I like this, but it also creates far more questions than answers.

The man wanted 19 and 20 to be the original Android Arc villains until his editor criticized him, then 17 and 18 until his editor criticized him again, then Cell. Somehow, he managed to make that all work within a storyline with TIME TRAVEL.
The man was a force of nature.
Gohan's a tragic character because no matter what, everyone hates him. People that like Cell Games Gohan hate Scholar Gohan, and vice versa. People that like DBS Gohan hate Future Gohan, and vice versa. He's not even safe from his own fans, it's crazy.
The funny thing about this interaction is that Goku is *at least* 10x stronger than he was in the ToP (from scaling the Saganbo fight).
Right now, he can roflstomp Beerus with zero effort.
Folks write off Gogeta trying to kill Broly as "well it was Vegeta's influence", but let me ask: why the hell would VEGETA want to kill him? You can't honestly believe that makes any sense.
To be honest, I like this line. It's harsh for Gohan but given the context, it's a well-deserved and necessary threat. Arguably the responsible decision. He doesn't *revel* in a sense of edgy superiority either.
And after the RoF Arc, it's pretty damn satisfying.
My opinion on filler is that it's worthwhile if it's good. Good filler is usually content that expands on the main story, or just creates an engaging side-story or moment.
Showing Vegeta unlock Super Saiyan is good filler.
So is Goku sitting on a swingset.
I still find it funny how much True UI contradicts the original premise of Goku's UI evolution.
It shouldn't be a form → Goku calls Omen the right transformation for his evolution.
His heart should be calm → not calm.
It should solve the stamina drain → still drains stamina.
@Revanaught1
I'm fine with it here because Frieza was just sparring while Goku's new form was a secret. Frieza became a threat to Goku once he transformed, but Beerus instantly diminished that.
Plus Frieza having almost 0 of his Namek Arc suave throughout the movie made him a petty child.
Somewhat surprised at the whole "villain kills Videl and Pan to anger Gohan" thing being treated like fanfic nonsense. The threat of seeing his loved ones hurt is one of Gohan's defining motivations in Z, and which DBS still relies on.
DBS 74 Time.
Fun fact: this manga has now been ongoing for the equivalent of almost 300 Toriyama chapters.
Ball was 194 chapters, while Z was 325 chapters.
Also, a rare cranium Vegeta angle.
Since there's Omega talk, here's something cool the GT dub did with the dragon names:
Syn - 1 Star Dragon
Haze - 2 Star Dragon
Eis - 3 Star Dragon
Nova - 4 Star Dragon
Rage - 5 Star Dragon
Oceanus - 6 Star Dragon
Naturon - 7 Star Dragon
Read the first letter of each name.
This image is funny because someone actually took the time to screenshot 410 frames of Vegeta being touched by a bad guy but they're only from like 10 fights.
That's a pretty brutal cope.
Even though DBS Goku is mostly out of the Dark Ages of his stupidity, his legacy has really gaslit some of you folks, man. Goku was a lot more foul in Z and GT, and *especially* in Super Saiyan 4. This kind of talk is definitely not out of character.
Vegeta gets slandered for unlocking SSJ4 with the help of Bulma's machine (which just turned him into an Oozaru, he still did all the work) but Piccolo gets gassed up for wishing for his transformations...
In the art book that comes with the $200 collectors edition of kakarot.....
Under the freeza saga relationship guide there’s a picture of ssj2 goku
💀💀💀💀☠️☠️☠️☠️
Completed UI was so OP that Toyo had to nerf Goku's BRAIN just for Granolah to get a *chance* to attack him.
Bro literally forgot what clones were even though he used them against Whis at the start of the SAME arc 😭.
If Goku doesn't surpass Beerus by September this year...
Beerus would be officially undefeated for longer than the ENTIRE Dragon Ball manga—all 500+ chapters—was in serialization (10 years and 6 months).
It's been over 8 years since Battle of Gods was first released, and now we're in Super's 8th story arc (counting all the movies). At this point, it's worth looking back arc-by-arc and asking: what is even the point of Beerus in the DB world?
He was far, FAR more clever with the original manga's run than he's given credit for. He had so many tricks up his sleeve—some merely impromptu decisions—that it's a disservice to brush him off as merely 'lazy', especially due to how he changed the manga landscape way back then.
