Players will bring their own supply of balls with them. Manufacturers will deliver to their homes ahead of time. Receiving packages on time has been tricky when visiting Saudi in my experience. The course is ok, some new tees were added and a lot of palm trees to frame some of the fairways. Condition wise it’s probably not quite where they want it after coming out of a cold winter that has restricted growth. The lights are actually really good. There are some areas that aren’t quite as bright as others so I’d expect more to be added if night golf returns to the venue. Golf isn’t as big in Saudi as other parts of the world, it’s gaining momentum but will take time. The set up for this weeks event is amazing. Thousands attend the concerts at the end of play each day but it seems not as many venture out onto the golf course yet. Today’s round was very impressive! 🫢
