We expect that the people we trust, and therefore elect to office, has already began that process.. But sadly reality rarely meets expectations, even though at the debates we were told that Trump had “Concepts of a plan” - should have been a red flag right there, but everyone was too blinded by then. I remember an early Trump interview (prior to the access Hollywood quote) where Trump was asked how he managed to close some of the more ridiculous deals in his career. “I learned a long time ago that you can get anyone to believe anything you say just by repeating certain key words over and over again. They’ll start to believe you, every time.” Now listen to his campaign speeches over the 2 campaigns again, with that quote in mind. Without actually doing it, I can almost guarantee that “Terrible” is the MOST repeated word in his speeches. How you ask? Because directly after his speeches, his disciples started using the same repeated key words in their own writings/posts/videos. The art of the con is a time-honored business practice. And just like those suckers who bought into his business dealings, we bought into his “promises” that he knew he couldn’t keep.

No, there’s two major parties. There’s at least five parties. Dem, Rep, Lib, Green and Tea are the ones that come to mind. There may be more The 2 major parties, though, are the ones that have enough backing to make enough noise that everyone forgets about the rest. Ron Paul ran on the Libertarian Ticket years ago, more recently, Jill Stein represented the Green Party.. there are more

@theEthanKeller @harryjsisson No, but being barred by a federal government entity for not reporting “government approved” messages, however, is.

@Alltimecryptos @harryjsisson Except it’s not factually accurate. The only place it’s known as “Gulf of America” and recognized as such IS the US. It’s nothing more than a Sabre-Rattling display of vanity and contempt for the rest of the world.

@HntrCrkPiP @Britannica Too bad indeed. Google only affected the change for US users, per their policy. Mexico still sees “Gulf of Mexico” and other countries see “Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)”

@SoucDogg @ColtonBlakeX I’m non partisan. I think current partisan politics are a joke, and nothing but a one upsmanship. But you’re right. If I had to chose, I’d be a libertarian. I think you’re both fucking nuts.

@yaknowimright0 @LibertyBells_76 @acnewsitics No. Because we knew what we could be in for and we didn’t care. It’s still our fault for letting it happen. But truthfully, I’m cautiously optimistic that something will change before the midterms. Because if it doesn’t, he KNOWS he will loose the house and senate.

Then why is all the right “media” doing nothing but pointing to Dems? Why are the only programs and policies being targeted democrat ones and nobody is openly calling for ALL programs and policies to be targeted (ok not nobody, but very VERY few are outspoken about it?) It’s the perception vs the reality, and the perception is “stick it to the libs”

But he campaigned on the promise of delivering on day one: lower inflation, end of wars, and lower grocery prices. He knew he couldn’t deliver, but he said exactly what we wanted to hear. And once elected, admitted that he wouldn’t be able to do it right away, and then shifted the focus away to all that nonsense so that we would forget about it.

And that’s the problem. Especially this election, all we did was look at promises, and the fact that we were unhappy with the previous administration. Nobody looks at the long term. Our society has become one of instant gratification, and with all due respect, he knows that. He knows we want something and we want it now, and he based his campaign on that, knowing full well he couldn’t do it. And we fed into it. We didn’t look at the fact that he promised us to get rid of the ACA his last term, and couldn’t do it because he didn’t have a replacement strategy. (As an example) among other things he said he would do and either couldn’t or didn’t. But that didn’t matter to the voters this time, simply due to the over promise strategy. And it’s been this way for at least the last 4-6 presidents. Satisfy the instant gratification and you win, whether you can deliver it or not

@tommysantos14 So, eliminate the judicial branch because they don’t agree with your guy? That’s communism. Plain and simple. It’s WHY we have the three branches, and one of them has a duty to interpret the law, and act accordingly, and have nothing to do with the process of making the rules.

I’m more angry about the fact that he campaigned on all these day one promises. And as SOON as he was elected “it’s going to be hard, but we will try” And he hasn’t lifted one of those famous pens to do what he promised, or even try, as he said he would. It’s the same cycle with all presidents: over promise and barely deliver. Both parties. It’s our faults for letting that cycle perpetuate into a norm. I’m angry at Americans for allowing it to happen.
