Criminal justice reform is not a moment; it’s a mission. The recent election showed that voters continue to embrace principles of reform because they know the traditional system falls short on delivering safety, accountability, and justice. Reform is here to stay. @LAist

This election cycle showed that voters are frustrated but they also want solutions that address the root causes of crime, not failed strategies that led to mass incarceration. We don’t need to choose between safety and justice. We can—and must—have both.
