Game journalism is heavily politically infused, we don’t critically analyze gameplay experiences anymore. If you compare the stats of games made from 2010 to 2018 with what we have now, it feels like we’re moving backward in terms of gaming experience. It’s pretty crazy, man, studios are being pushed to be politically correct rather than focusing on building a fun game. No disrespect to anyone, but gaming is for everyone. Sometimes, certain implementations may not sit well with you due to cultural differences, but that doesn’t mean we should throw good gameplay out the window.
