Wave 3 of Project Redux will feature A LOT new content, but also improve the already existing Maps. We've equipped Urchin Underpass with Bake Shadows, better lightings and more. See the video below!
We're proud to say that The Reef is nearly complete! Just a few more Material and Lighting adjustments and you'll soon be able to play on Splatoon 2's most popular map.
Do you like it though?
Take a look at one of the revamped Octo Valley stages! All Octo Valley stages have been going under a major overhaul in preparation for our Wave 2 Version 1.1.0 release. What do you think about their new look?
Take an early look at our custom Rainmaker Layout for Saltspray Rig. Feel free to submit feedback/suggestions in the comments or on our discord server (linked in the comments)
In Project Redux 3.0, we're introducing Custom Scenes!
While playing our mod, ported maps will be seperate entries in Splatoon 3. This means while having Redux installed, instead of replacing your favorite map- you can now play on it while having our mod installed!
We think that the map's appearance is just as important as little details to make it even more enjoyable. You probably won't notice the Butterflies when playing, but the fact that they are there and that you *could* see them while playing makes the difference.

Heya, squid kids! We've rebranded our Project's name from "Gander" to "Redux". We hope you don't mind this sudden change, and stay tuned for Wave 3 of.. Project Redux!
Agent 1 of the New Squidbeak Splatoon will be reporting in person this time around! Yet I'm certain that I've seen her somewhere else—at least I think I have.
Where are these new Sloshers coming from?! This paint can one is apparently a Dunkshot. As for the OTHER one, also showcased a few days earlier, that one's a Bomber Dunkshot. Both seem to have similarities to the Slosher weapons we use today. Are they prototypes perhaps? 🪣
If you haven't already seen the news, we now have a website for our project! We suggest you check it out if you want to see more about Wave 3.. (check thread for link!)
Hey Squids, we've discovered a new Stage for you to play on in
#Splatoon3
. The Stage is still in development so please ignore the bad lightning and paint issues.

Hello there everyone! A few days ago, the first release of Project Gander came out! Check it out on our gamebanana page in 🧵. It includes the Octo Valley: World 1. Stay tuned for more!
Hey, squid kids! Welcome back to The Reef, which we showed off earlier. It'll make it's debut into Splatoon 3 during Wave 3 of Project Gander! Stay tuned for more information!👀
As of now, there aren't any Night Spotlights on the Map (Light points that aren't generated by bakes).
We yet didn't figure out how to add those as they just refuse to spawn, but we'll continue to try to figure that out.
This mod by
@WmnRollerHeavy
will be included in Wave 3 of Project Redux! This is the first Multiplayer HUD change that will be added in, stay tuned..

@yoshicrystal
That makes no sense at all as we will both have literally the same features in our mod packs, why don't you help us with Gander instead lol
@travmxx
Yes! Every map will have it's respected night variant, with tricolor being included if it's compatible :) Otherwise we have something else in mind.. 👀
The Future and Update Cycle (1/2)
As we're heading into Wave 3 for Project Redux (formally now 3.0.0), our team realized that we simply cannot continue with the Wave updates; we'll instead start counting by version numbers and release what we deem releasable.
We're trying to find the correct balance between porting the maps as they looked like in the previous games, but also adding new content to make them better. We hope that you enjoy what we have planned.
Stay tuned for more updates!
The Future and Update Cycle (2/2)
Each update from now will contain QOL improvements to maps, etc. These will also contain new maps, or models aswell. To put it simply, we're dropping the bigger updates to find a better pace to update at, and not setting dates for them.
Where is Wave 3?
We've been working on Wave 3 for a while now- our plan was to have it out earlier, with around 6 maps. While it didn't happen, we promise we're still working on it! We ran into many bugs- don't worry though, we'll update you when it's ready for release!
The State of the Project (2/2)
However, the limitation of staff and motivation from our current staff is running dry. The project may become more long-term for releases than we hoped, but it's for the better and will overall improve the quality of each update.
The State of the Project (1/2)
As you all know, we've been struggling for reliable modders and other map porters to help us, and speed up our project. As we've grown bigger, members have developed new tools, and made the project overall easier.
@shartgamiing
we felt like "Gander" wasn't fitting to the mod pack, Redux fits way better as it's meaning is basically "an adjective that represents being brought back, or revived" (which our project does, bringing back content of sp1 and sp2)
