In honour of #WorldAutismDay , we are pleased to make our report public. We found that many Ontario caregivers of autistic children are overwhelmed due to long waitlists for needs-based therapy, school disruptions, and a lack of mental health, respite and crisis supports.
With colleagues @ProfMSchneider & @SteveGentles, I'm pleased to share our most recent research with caregivers of autistic children. Our study exploring service access, education and caregiver well-being during COVID, will launch April 2: #WorldAutismDay.
