There is no "life-affirming option.". The baby is going to die. Period. Either she dies immediately through procedural abortion or she dies in utero or she dies after birth, hastened by pain killers which suppress breathing. TX Right to Life just wants to her to die their way.
We mourn the decision to take Baby Coxโs life rather than give her every chance at life. There are life-affirming options rather than abortion.

*I say "new lawsuit," but really it's an "amended complaint" tacked onto the original lawsuit. It's an attempt to revive that lawsuit. It's all very convoluted. Long story short, the original plaintiffs didn't have standing; so, Kansas, Missouri, and Idaho joined on as plaintiffs.
