These devices, used globally—including in Israel—to monitor patient vitals, have been found to contain built-in malware. Key Findings: •Hidden Backdoor: The device sends remote access requests to a hard-coded IP address, bypassing existing network settings. This backdoor could allow malicious actors to upload and overwrite files on the device. •Patient Data Exposure: In its default configuration, the monitor transmits unencrypted patient data to a hard-coded public IP address, potentially leaking confidential information.
