It's the first day of November, so get excited! This begins my biggest fic yet!
Premise: What would Watayuri have become if Hime and Yano didn't separate as kids? How would Liebe have changed?

THE WINNER HAS BEEN DECIDED! With over 450 votes in the finals, the winner of the 2023 Yuri Character Tournament is...
CLAIRE FRANCOIS!
It seems like yuri Twitter is also in love with the villainess, and rightly so ☺️
Thank you all for participating, and happy new year!
I love how Mio is super rich, but acts like a delinquent. Like, this girl will probably not win in a fight, but she will buy your dorm house and evict you.
I really want to put these 3 into a room together. Manaria tries to rizz up Anis, Euphie snaps at her, and Manaria finds the reaction adorable.
Euphie would haaaaaaaaaaate Manaria. Would we see 2 geniuses fight? Who knows!
Book store cashier: "Oh? Are you reading these for fun?"
How DARE you! I am a yuri scholar! Nothing is 'fun' about these books, I am conducting rigorous research for my fanfiction!
And yes, I would like a bag.
I always appreciate a great friendship. Where we can see two people care about each other, and boost each other up. And sometimes, give a reality check.
Also yes, I know Kanoko wants more, but I adore how much Hime cares about her as a friend. Especially in recent chapters.
In celebration of Claire's victory in the 2023 Yuri Character Tournament, I c0missioned the amazing
@Yona_y1
to make this lovely piece as her prize! Congratulations Claire❤️

Thinking about what Manaria must have been like as a kid. Did she start dressing all boyish because she was rebelling against the fem standards of princesses? Just enjoyed boy clothes more? Enjoyed confusing people about her gender? All three, even?
At the airport for flight to Japan, and ran into a girl with ILTV manga in one of her outside pockets. Turns out she wants to go to Japan in a year to be an animator. Good luck, Chloe!
Really enjoying my tread into these sort of neo-Class S works. Where it has the sister dynamic, but they also explore the idea of being a lesbian. Deffo need to find more like them!
One thing I love about Precure: it doesn't talk down to its audience. It doesn't try to make the girls addicted to their phones and spouting memes. Or make them all lazy. They are just people, with different personalities!
I really want to see these two in the same room, especially at the start of their series. They would bond over not feeling that 'spark' when confessed to...and Hime does a similar facade to Touko. I think they'd be great friends 🥰
Class S yuri...but it's the mafia.
Little Sister: "Onee-sama...I couldn't get the money from the client..."
Big Sis: "I see...you did your best, Angela. Let me show you how it's done."
*pulls out baseball bat*
Little Sister: "That's my dependable onee-sama!"
Ok, THIS is what I love about these two. They genuinely care about each other, yet express it in totally different ways. Honoka has a harder time expressing emotion, yet is also the optimistic one. Nagisa is better at expressing herself, but also has her own insecurity. Amazing.
We have now reached the end of the 2023 Yuri Character Tournament! Two women stand before us!
Claire Francois vs Euphyllia Magenta!
Villainess vs Queen!
Which of these magical ladies will take the crown? CAST YOUR VOTES BELOW!
Yuri about two girls who are fated to be together.
Literally.
Their bodies are always traveling toward each other, just incredibly slowly. 1 foot per minute. Not enough to disrupt their lives...just inconvenience.
They are stuck to their walls every morning.
I really respect people who can get obsessed over a fictional character. Like, this idea for a person someone had just bringing so much happiness to a specific person. I find it beautiful~
Soooo...I made a thing.
For purposes of this chart, determined means they are trying to go pro. Lawful means they are happy with their current status...and sellout means they either have a label backing them, or want success at all costs.
Yuri Will Be My Job
Just a series about a girl painfully unaware of how gay she is, and how all her 'besties' are in love with her...blissfully unaware.
Girls Love Manga "Yuri is my Job!" by Miman is going on indefinite hiatus due to the health of the author.
GL Romance about a high school girl who starts working at a theme cafe where she & the other girls are tasked to act like students from a classic all-girls private school.
Two more chapters of the Watayuri anthology have now been translated, and are on MangaDex! This time, it's:
My Yuri is Body Swap - Tasuke
And
Dream - Mochi au Lait
Thanks again to
@_yuriina
for the translation, while I proofread! Hope you enjoy these amazing chapters~
And here we have the pink Cure, Hibiki in her natural habitat. It's said only the wild Kanade swans can break this ferocious beast out of its rampage. Back to you, Simon.
It looks like the comments about Jellyfish weren't entirely accurate. The actual comments are below. Thank you for chiming in and providing another perspective on this.
I always wonder what the Precure girls do with their powers after the series is over. I just imagine say, Tsubomi transforming so she can lift a couch into her college dorm, or Love using it to win one of those carnival strength games.
Yuri about a himejoshi who works at an aquarium. Any girl duo she sees come in, she's looking for signs of longing.
A solo lady walks in. Making small talk as she is getting the ticket, joshi asks what her favorite fish is.
"Cuddlefish."
She leaves, joshi staring &panicking.
Happy Birthday to Claire Francois! To celebrate, I wrote a fic of her and Manaria as kids, 1 year after her mom died. Manaria making it her mission to cheer Claire up by taking her on a date~

Yuri about a girl who accompanies a detective on her adventures, and the detective is secretly trying to figure out her motivation for doing so. Whenever she asks, the girl just says;
"I just think you're so cool!"
The detective just can't accept the girl's in love.
Girls Band Cry rhythm game, where the more you mess up, the more pissed off the band gets. Instead of failing, sometimes Nina will just smash one of the inputs off the screen, making it easier for you.
Then flips you off.
Finished Futari wa Precure! I could go on for hours about my opinions, but I'll just say that Nagisa and Honoka are now my favorite duo. The action was fantastic, and it's so interesting to see how serious this show got! Tons of love went into this show, and I adored it.
In the spirit of the holiday season, I just wanted to say how much I appreciate this little yuri community I found myself in. You're all some of the sweetest, most welcoming people I have ever met, and I appreciate all the lovely friends I've made along the way ❤️
I noticed a similar chaotic energy between these two, so I thought it would be fun to see them act like each other! Thanks to
@RezaMaulana98
for drawing this commission!!
Trying to think about why, despite loving ILTV so much, I can't think of many ideas for fics in it.
I think it’s because, least to me...Inori's already kinda written the perfect dynamic with these 2. Not much I could add to the conversation, really.
Sunshine finally appears! I'm already a fan of how Itsuki fights, seems a little more experienced than the other two when it comes to martial arts. Less huge punches/kicks, more deliberate strikes.
@makinozoniconii
And yet nobody freaked out over the idea of romance between girls. Natsumi just wants to go viral over it, and Sumire wants to avoid idols dating.

Might be reading too far into this, but I find statements like this fascinating. Since it could indicate actual feelings, but tamped down by society(especially back then) looking down on LGBT. Rooting for you, Nagisa!
In the wake of a certain author's comments;
Trans people are valid
Cis people are valid
Non binary are valid
Gender and biological sex are different things.
Trans women are women, trans men are men. End of story.
Announcing my biggest project yet: going to be attempting NaNoWri for the first time, writing a huge Watayuri fic! Been outlining it for weeks now.
The premise...what would the story have become if Yano and Hime didn't separate as kids?
Look forward to it~
Stats like this make me happy I am a yuri writer. It feels more meaningful to me, writing for these smaller fandoms that don't have thousands of fics. It's a small contribution, but I'm happy to make it~
Thank you for 600 followers, everyone! I'm so happy people want to hear me fangirling about yuri, or perhaps read my writing! You're all lovely yuri gremlins😊
With that, I have completed Heartcatch. That was easily one of the most beautiful anime I've ever seen! The art style, Tsubomi, Erika...everything was fantastic. Easily my favorite now. I will definitely be returning to this down the line, but for now, onto Suite!
@manga_nostalgic
"Way too saccharine".
Ah yes. He wants to be a ghoul who can sit back and let his Uzuki-style manic pixie dream girl do all the emotional labor. I will never understand the mindset of fearing connecting with someone emotionally, like they don't see it as masculine?
Hehehe...rejoice, everyone! For I am now BACK! Work has slowed down, and I can be on Twitter once again! And more importantly...I can write once more! Oh there are SO many ideas I'm going to make reality now!
This image has been in one of my tabs ever since the finale. It's given me SO much inspiration for my Hina fic. Just look how happy they were before it became tragic ;_;
Story idea:
2 girls are socially isolated at school, but at night...they sometimes wind up in the same lucid dream together. They retain their memories in the dream, but don't have access upon waking.
They bond by bending the world around them and have cute dates~
Tomori from MyGo and Bocchi are backstage at the same show, nervous about interacting with another person. Bocchi then sees a star pin on Tomori's bag, asks if she likes space, and they spend the next 30 minutes fangirling over their hyperfixations.
One immediate red flag for me is if anyone calls Kanoko a 'yandere'.
Yandere are an archetype of selfish charas who isolate someone from their social circle, usually w/violence
Kanoko never tells Hime what to do, is never violent, and flat out coaches Yano to make Hime happy.
Listened to the Watoshi audio book on my drive yesterday, and the intrusive thoughts began again. Thoughts like:
"What if I just wrote the Rod route proper?"
Send help.
