After scoreless regulation play and two overtimes, Priory falls in PKs to Webster Groves in the Class 3 state sectionals. It was an outstanding year for Priory Rebels Soccer, punctuated by a District championship, and we could not be prouder of our players and coaches.
As sports practices begin this week, kudos to Priory soph. Donny Ross, who recently participated in the US Youth Soccer National Championships representing St. Louis Scott Gallagher SC Elite. Donny was named to the All-Tournament Best Eleven for the 16-and-Under Boys.
🏈 Varsity Football def. John Burroughs 28-21 in the district semifinal, will face Trinity on Friday in the district championship. The team s now 9-2, the first nine-win season for Priory since 1999.
Following the team's great win last night against Vianney, Priory Hockey rolls on in the Challenge Cup, with two games against SLUH -- tomorrow night (Sat., 2/9) at 9:15 p.m. at South County and on Monday 2/11 at 9 p.m. at Affton. Let's go Rebels!

Congratulations to head hockey coach Mr. Jason Getz, who has been named this year’s Midstates Coach of the Year! He’ll be recognized between the championship games at the Enterprise Center on Wednesday night.
On Monday, we held a signing ceremony for two student-athletes. Jahaad Fort will be taking his talents to Southwest Baptist University to play football, and David Sadasivam is Priory’s first Division I lacrosse commit, taking his career to Hampton University.

The St. Louis Sports Commission announced this week that senior Dalton Bingman is one of the 2020 recipients of the Carl Fricks Sportsmanship Scholarship. The scholarships recognize high school seniors from the region who embody outstanding sportsmanship. Congratulations!

Priory Golf has won the Metro League golf tournament. The team shot 315, which was 12 strokes fewer than the second place team. Priory's Peter Weaver won the tournament individually with a one-under 71. Congrats Rebel golfers!
Seniors Elliott Holdosh and Louis Rolwes and junior Dalton Bingman all competed in the state wrestling championship tournament last weekend at the University of Missouri, continuing a long run of success for the Priory wrestling program. (1/4)

The Priory wrestling team took 1st place in the Metro League tournament this weekend, with all 8 wrestlers placing in the top 3 in their weight classes.

Congratulations to senior wrestling captain Greg Rolwes, who took 2nd place in his weight class at the state wrestling championship in Columbia this weekend. Five Priory wrestlers competed in the state tournament, the most since 2001.
Junior Gulshan Kodwani was the individual state champion, sophomore Peter Weaver finished second and senior Ben Blase finished 10th. All three will receive all-state honors.

On Saturday night, our 8th graders won the 54th annual Little Shamrock Basketball Tournament at St. James the Greater Parish in Dogtown. Priory also won this tournament in 1966, the very first year it was held. Congratulations to the team members and coaches!
