This week Little Owls have been learning all about the Chinese New Year. We explored how to form numbers in Chinese using water colours. Check out how amazing Little Owls did!

Year 6 enjoyed their Goalball session last week! @TheRoseLearning

Year 1 have enjoyed taking part in a science experiment to look at materials that float and sink. Great learning, lots of fun and a few soggy but happy children!

Year 2 had great afternoon at The Axholme Academy taking part in the sports hall athletics competition. We came away as winners 🥇🏆🥇 @TheRoseLearning @PE_AxAcademy

We had a fabulous week in nursery last week learning about the farm. We enjoyed vegetable printing and animal counting! @TheRoseLearning

Year 2 have started learning our times tables. We are enjoying our daily practice. @TheRoseLearning @TTRockStars

Year 1 have worked fantastically in teams to make birds. We used our listening and compromising skills. We created some wonderful birds. We have also enjoyed playing a doubles game.

Year 6 learnt about the Holocaust this week as part of the 80th Anniversary. I was very proud of how they listened and reflected on the tragic events that took place. Well done everyone! @TheRoseLearning

Today in nursery, we spoke about kindness and how we show kindness to others. We coloured in our kindness butterflies to celebrate our achievements @rose

This week Little Owls have been using their Phonics to write a key fact about emperor penguins. They were very resilient with their segmenting to spell and letter formation.

In nursery, we have been busy, focusing our learning around our theme book Dear Zoo, by Rod Campbell. We have practised our cutting skills whilst making lion masks and developed our knowledge of touch counting whilst feeding the animals. What a wild week!@TheRoseLearning
