Tagged the last silver eels this year with colleagues from Wildlife Estonia. Since the fall of 2019, we have tagged 100 silver eels using acoustic tags to study the freshwater migration routes in Estonia. @maaylikool #telemetry #eel

@acbryhn My colleagues have also an ongoing project on finding use for very abundant smaller sized bream which is discarded by fishermen at the moment. The possible solutions they are looking into besides eating is fish feed and fertilizers.

We have been catching eel again😎
Started with field works last week and the results are very promising. All these eels are migrating silvers from Narva River Basin District - what a variety in length and appearance. Of course the small ones are males😊 #estruseel #estoniarussiacbc #eel @Maaylikool

Had a blast yesterday telling kids about eel management and research we have done so far in our @estruseel project. We will visit at least 6 schools in total and try to spread the word to as many people as possible!
