@SeibtNaomi Naomi, are you drunk? Yes, Ukraine is corrupt and their government deserves critique. Yes, the US is in a patron-client relationship with Ukraine but the US knowingly went for it and it's not like they haven't gained. Profits for the US after the war will pour in for sure.

@kastravec_rik @GabiMarinRo @MarioNawfal It isn't globally recognized, that's one. The whole process was initiated because of strategic interests and it's backfiring in Ukraine. Sure, Kosovo will become an independent state and Serbia won't get it back realistically. Good for them. Intl. law = broken by now.

Self-determination of people is a different thing but do we adhere to the latter? Also, do remaining ethnic Ukrainians voting in Crimea legitimize it being Russia? Is that the ultimate criterion?
