@DrEilidhMaria Sounds like you’re looking for Intensive Care. People generally need you for your expertise, it’s practical, very varied with medicine, surgery, obstetric patients, paeds (in some hospitals) and strong links with virtually all specialties.

Thanks so much for sharing this thread. Important for everyone in 2dary care to read it and sign the open letter linked at the end of the thread.
In 2014 life dealt me an out of the blue, terrifying, life-changing experience. It shattered me into pieces. My reaction to it was grossly misunderstood by my peers, and by colleagues I had previously trusted too. I lost my health, via major surgery, and then my job 1/11

This is terrible news. NHS is one of the biggest employers in the world, but won’t fund this important service for staff. NHS PH helps save careers and even lives of healthcare professionals. If you work in 2dary care you likely know someone who’s benefited from PH.
