@iamfortheright @russellquirk @ToryWipeout @UKLabour That's not how it all works. The PM doesn't even sit on the disciplinary committee. There was a grooming gang inquiry, It took SEVEN years to complete. You people don't understand anything do you?

@iamfortheright @russellquirk @ToryWipeout @UKLabour Because the process is set out in the party rule book. It has to be followed.

@iamfortheright @russellquirk @ToryWipeout @UKLabour The Labour Party has a disciplinary process set out in its rule book. He likely will be expelled, but the process has to be followed first. Having the whip removed is the first stage.

@BellaWallerstei @thetimes Dependent on husbands who do work no doubt. What next? Demanding English stay at home mums go out to work too?

@AvonandsomerRob No it isn't. The whip will be removed from everyone involved and quickly. He has been ruthless in ridding the party of those who bring it into disrepute.

@Socialnotwork72 @joerichlaw And this is going to be the challenge. In principle, raising the bar on qualification is not the issue. It makes sense in pursuit of better outcomes. But with teacher retention already a challenge, it is a valid question to ask, who will pay for those higher qualifed staff?

@Jawgenius @joerichlaw She is literally insisting on better qualification! Of course the tories were happy to use underqualified staff. They cost less. It's bonkers to think raising the bar on qualification will lead to poorer outcomes.

@joerichlaw Of course the tories would object to cheap unqaulified teaching staff. They haven't investedin teachers or training for years.

@dandog247 @grahamchatterl2 Yeah, heaven forbid we have working class musicians and artists. Music and art are for everyone you bellend.

@cheddargran @grahamchatterl2 @LeftyHumanist He makes a very good point. Every child should get something out of education. Too many currently don't, and selective attitudes to education are part of the reason why. It's too easy for some schools to exclude, vet applicants, and game the currirculum. That has to change.

@grahamchatterl2 @HannahLucyM @slinkydoodle That's because she hasn't actually articulated what she is upset about. All she is doing is ranting waffle and name calling! She enjoyed a special privilege with Micheal Gove. She is struggling to adjust to not being the only opinion being invited imo.

@grahamchatterl2 @CreEnglish @bphillipsonMP Quite. Birbalsingh has thrown plenty of tantrums and name calling about. She hasn't engaged in a single conversation around details. Just what is she opposed to? Anyone know?

@JillySUK1 @potatoes199 @Nigel_Farage @UKLabour And there we have someone that knows absolutely nothing about political parties and their memberships.

@Nigel_Farage @UKLabour By your logic, Corbyn would have won by a landslide. You will learn the hard way that membership does not translate into seats.

@ColleenOFlinn @docrussjackson @LBC @Miss_Snuffy I didn't say that. The point is that she put Tory political activism before professionalism, and now that government has changed, no longer has the influence she once had. She needs to get over it.

@ColleenOFlinn @docrussjackson @LBC @Miss_Snuffy Do you have any idea how hard it is to get time with a cabinet minister? From her comments though, all she is complaining about is not getting her way. I haven't seen a single interview where she articulates exactly what she is opposed to. Not one.

@rorymeakin @tomhfh I agree and as councils issue the licences to these companies, they could be doing more to force them to do better at managing their bikes. Limes bikes are also quite expensive to use in London. Each journey is £1 plus 15p per minute, meaning a 20 minute journey costs £4.

@AmandaB55744931 @DrFrancesRyan Which is why the transfer of those on ESA to UC has been done as slowly as possible, because many would actually get more money, not less.
