Douglas was the gateway for over $2.1 billion worth of goods in 2024: that is over $1.4 billion imports and $741 million in exports. From automotive components and mining machinery, to medical equipment and household products, Douglas is emerging as a major hub for global trade!

Great news! In 2024 Douglas was the gateway for 28,640 northbound trucks, 1,368 more than in 2023! We also saw 3.6 million people cross at Douglas, people that went shopping, stayed in our hotels, and ate in our restaurants.

The Douglas border crossing is growing in trade and tourism. Truck crossings increased 3.6% this year through October, with over $1 billion in goods passing through. More than 3 million people have crossed into the community, boosting tourism in Douglas and across Arizona.

What a great day with @cityofdouglasaz hosting a delegation from the AZ Border Counties Coalition. So much going on that will impact the entire binational region. Glad they brought comfy shoes as we did a lot of walking! Nothing like seeing trade and tourism in action.
