Been to visit Charlie today, she’s doing really well and we’re seeing some positive changes ☺️ There’s still a long way to go but she’s slowly piecing together what’s happened over the last week, understanding why she’s in hospital, and agreeing that it’s in her best interest.

Update - Charlie says she’s being very well cared for & her new meds have definitely kicked in, which has already made a really positive difference… she’s also had a change of hair which makes her smile a lot 💕
There’s still a long way to go but we’re taking it day by day 💚

She’s been able to have a shower, got changed & she’s on some new medication which should help.

Something (or someone) who makes me happy is my dog Colin the Staffy 🐶 this little lamb is my rock and never fails to make me smile - even if he steals seats and doesn’t understand the concept of personal space

I’m taking each day as it comes, spending lots of quality time with Colin the dog who’s being extra snuggly. He’s definitely missing his other mummy though (as am I!) I’m being extra kind to myself, working when I can and taking downtime where possible.

Completely get the concern - Charlie has previously done 24 half marathons in a row to raise money for Mind - her goal is to beat that record and then reduce the daily amount, we’re keeping a close eye on things and exercise really does help her mental health (I’m her wife ☺️)
