Breaking my normal silence on politics to say that red flag laws are an egregious violation of your 4th amendment protection against warrantless search/seizure, 5th amendment right to due process, and ofc 2nd amendment right to bear arms. They are NOT the solution to the problem.
Red flag laws allow us to take action when someone who has a gun begins to act erratically. Red flag laws still require due process, and any removal of weapons is temporary.
